Tsarina Style looks

One of the essentials to create a look in tsarina style is the fur (strictly fake, I recommend!).

However, the alternatives that are on the market are really numerous and is not easy to decide... so here are some tips on
how to choose a (faux) fur coat

1
Know what to choose to achieve a slim look. Simil Fox and coyote (faux)furs are very nice, but the extra long hairs may give you the look of extra weight. If you are looking for a slim look, sheared fur like beaver, mink, among other short haired furs will work better.
2
Decide whether you're making a lifetime purchase or only for a few years. Long haired furs have the characteristic of losing hairs over time along with discoloration that follows. Also, softest fur, starts to lose its hairs and luster and is a victim to discoloration as well.
3
Choose the length of your coat. The lengthy coat has an exceptional look. But these lengthy furs have more probability of collecting dirt and wearing out near the bottom. You may save yourself dollars on cleaning and dollars on headache pills by buying a shorter coat. Today’s short furs look great with jeans and ball gowns alike.
4
Choose the color lining that you prefer. If you are like most people, you say- white, bright and flashy! But consider this: faux fur needs to be cleaned at least twice a year to maintain its new condition, look and smell. However, in the process, the lining may never be cleaned while it is still attached to the fur. The furrier will refresh the lining but the stains and spots will stay. So if you have dark lining you will be able to easier conceal these stains. Consequently, dark lining may be a better choice if you are buying a fur for everyday wear. Every once in a while you will have to request that your furrier takes off the lining so that you may dry clean it and sow it back on, fresh and clean.
5
Choose the color that you prefer. A similar principle applies here as well. If you plan to wear your fur once a year then white will be a great choice. However, the more you wear it between cleanings, the more you should consider choosing a darker color.

Tsarina style with fur and damask

You know , I love the tsarina style: I would wear crinolines , brocade, silk and fur (fake , of course) every day! ^ ^ ( It 'obvious that I was born in the wrong century ... )Let's face it , winter gives us much less chances to go crazy with clothes and play with fashion than the summer: you have to brave rain, cold and wind, so in the end it is normal that our looks are essentially dedicated more to protect us from the elements that flatter us .With the tsarina style, instead, I felt immediately a very good compromise between the need to stay warm and to want to give a feminine and romantic touch to our looks , and although, to be honest, it is not so practical for everuyday life , you can easily take a cue from it!So I am constantly looking for pieces that can use to recreate this style, and, as soon as I saw these tights in gold damask on the site Veneziana , I took them in a blink!I had also the prefect dress to go with it : in golden fabric , sleeveless, with a scoop neckline and tulip skirt , I had taken it last year on sale at H&M, but I'd never worw because once home it seemed to me far too short and I did not know what kind of stockings put with it.So I immediately wanted to try the pairing, and I must say that I was quite satisfied with the result (although I avoided heels anyway because of the length of the skirt - that even with tights comprenti , remains the same corrtissima -) ,
Over the dress I put the only mom's faux fur ( I'm trying to convert her to ecco fur: of course she is not Cruella De Vil , but she has always been used to having real fur and see them only as a piece of clothing, so do not enter in her head that is a useless cruelty on animals ): this is one of the most beautiful ecologic fur I've ever seen, there is just no comparison with the ones I have, it seems a true fur ( and in fact it costed as a real one... ) and I was looking forward since many times to having the opportunity to steal it from her!^ ^
